François is the founder of Afrikana Institute of Technology (AIT) and François’s Cyber Academy (FCA). A Cyber Researcher, Engineer and Educator, currently (2024) working for ISACA jumping between Cyber Lab Engineering and Cyber Research at Dakota State University (DSU) as a PhD Candidate.

François holds a Bachelor Degree in Network Management from Virginia College (VC), A Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance from Western Governors University (WGU) and currently working on his PhD from Dakota State University (DSU). Over the years he’s also managed to get numerous Cyber certifications including the CISSP, CASP+, CISA, CISM and more.

François is obsessed with training the next generation of Cyber heroes and believes that if security is negatively impacting the business then security is wrong. Security should be the enabler, allowing the business to do what the business does best. Simply put it everything François does is designed to help make this world 🌎 a safer place from cyber threats.
